I have to say romance. Because information technology encompasses historical, paranormal, etc. And I always like a love theme to exist office of the story even if the book is labeled fiction.
Immature Adult, especially dystopian fiction. I approximate the closest answer would take been fantasy?
I like mythology but I read a variety of stuff. I enjoy Greek Mythology and other types of mythology. Information technology's fun. Stories....
Horror. I like a skilful scare if its written well. Stephen King is what started me out on thus genre, and now I read all kinds. I like the kind of horror novel that causes you not to sleep on the dark that you've finished reading it. A lot of King's novels have this powerful quality to them. It sets this genre autonomously from others in a way. Notwithstanding, I am up for all kinds of fiction actually. I appreciate well-written works of fiction.
Yep, sorry, I should accept added more genres, but my mind went blank. I honey science fiction-fantasy-romance. Difficult to choice i genre, you know.
I can't choice merely ONE category... but the one that most closely resembles what I like is award winning fiction...the subject doesn't matter too much... it just needs to be beautifully written.
different kinds of realistic-fiction i guess, because it's easier to relate to, and i can get more involved in the story and seem every bit if i'thou actually there. merely a close second fave is romance mixed with realistic fiction. third is fantasy
Does "literary fiction" count as a genre?
I don't know. Never heard of information technology...?
I really can't pick just one. I read a wide range of books from non-fiction to fantasy. I'm partial to sci fi and fantasy as well as a good Jane Austen read. It all boils downwards to just 'a good story', no matter where or when or whatever universe information technology takes place.
Nice...
satire!
I similar historical novels held in Victorian and Edwardian times. I'm an Anglophile.
I like historical fiction around WWII. I likewise like multicultural fiction.
I would say I like more than contemporary fiction and as well literary.
Looking at my booklist, I definitely lean towards the historical, but I besides am really into young developed and general fiction.
I voted for mystery because that's my current obsession. But, I read all kinds of books. Not-fiction, fiction, mystery, paranormal romance, satire... you go the idea. Merely, yous asked which genre I read nigh often and currently, that would exist mystery. :)
Had the question been "What genre exercise like to read the most LATELY?" I probably could have answered. But the truth is, I don't accept a favorite genre to read. Partly because I similar books... and I find that any book you read, no matter how appalling, has lessons and some interesting messages to share; partly because I just don't seem to take favorites in anything!
I'chiliad but excessively curious... so i just read!
My genre is more a cantankerous genre than any particular genre. I am really into the mystery, just I similar there to exist supernatural ties in the book. Such every bit: Odd Thomas, Frankenstein, Watchers, Lightning, and Phantoms all by Dean Koontz, or Dreamcatcher by Stephen King, or The Quaternary Realm trilogy (The Traveler, Nighttime River, etc) by John Twelve Hawks.
I love Historical Fiction
I prefer urban fantasy
My favorite genre is Historic Fiction with a lilliputian chip of romance and mystery mixed in. It makes for an exciting and memorable read! But, I'll read annihilation that keeps me turning those pages!
I honestly could not pick a favorite considering I literally read from all genres. I'm every bit eclectic every bit they get. And my favorite books manage to work a little fleck of other genres in them.
romantic fantasy. :o)
i like to read recommendations, anything that my friends discover entertaining...
Existential; historical in the sense of culture and customs
I picked fantasy simply I really read from all genres except Horror. I accept a vivid imagination and I would literally accept nightmares!
I read mostly mysteries - absolutely love them! But I read romance, historical, some fantasy...always have a book with me.
I like and read from a multifariousness of different genres, but my favorite, beyond a shadow of a doubt, is fantasy.
Fantasy has ever seemed to be too general of a term for me. Is Fantasy typically medieval in nature. similar the Sword of Shanara and Lord of the Rings trilogy? Or the Terry Goodkind books? Or can information technology deal with mod characters and settings also? If it can, then tin anyone name any examples or reccomendations. I usually like books with a supernatural twist. Dean Koontz has books like this, such as: The Watchers, Phantoms, the Odd Thomas serial, Lightning.
I read a wide variety of books, but if I look at my bookshelf information technology's by and large immature adult fantasy. I guess that fits since I'm studying to exist a high school teacher... ;)
I like realistic fiction, either adult or YA.
Not so many people in goodreads seem to like mysteries, but I practise!!!
I like mysteries. Dean Koontz writes some very good and suspenseful mysteries. Have y'all ever read Koontz?
Michael wrote: "I like mysteries. Dean Koontz writes some very skillful and suspenseful mysteries. Accept you e'er read Koontz?" Not yet, I accept read all of Lee Kid (Reacher), Robert Parker (still in mourning), Patricia Cornwall, Michael Connolly, Christopher Reich, Kathy Reich, Jeffrey Deaver, John Sandford. My mystery shelf has almost 500 books on the read listing!!! I will attempt Koontz ASAP, thanks for the suggestion.
How is Michael Connolly? I looked up his big detective series but have forgotten the get-go book. I accept heard he is really good. I also accept several of the Kathy Reichs books, but take not started to read them even so. Dean Kontz has a lot of supernatural twists. If y'all do not like this, I would get-go with The Darkest Evening of the Year or Relentless. These are both recent and very skillful.

I looked up Michael Connelly'south characters for his iii series. Which one exercise you think is the best? Harry Bosch, Mickey Haller, or Jack McEvoy?
Bosch for certain, and you?

9 Dragons was splendid
I just started reading Black Echo. I must say, this is ane of the best detective novels I have read. I am only 100 pages into the book and I already know that I want to read the balance of the Harry Bosch books. I am confused though, I was under the impression that Black Echo was the first Bosch book. Only there are repeated references to Bosch'due south involvement in the famous Dollmaker series instance that made him famous. Is this in some other book. I imagine that the Harry Bosch novels are non published chronologically according to the character's life. Like the Jack Ryan novels by Tom Clancy, they must jump around. If this is the case, does anyone know the chronological order (according to the character's life)of the Harry Bosch novels?

The Black Echo was the first. If yous put "Harry Bosch" into wikipedia, they list all of his books in gild and some other great info that I found very helpful. Let me know what you remember.
Memoirs and contemporary fiction.
I enjoy contemporary fiction, and since I am a Heart School instructor I honey YA books. It helps me to sympathise what my kids like and what they think is interesting.
I read a petty fleck of everything. I am very versatile. I haven't plant that one genre that is my must dice for blazon of books.
I read a just nearly anything except truthful law-breaking but actually relish thrillers, fantasy and SF
While I really like science fiction, I will read almost anything printed in English. I don't like really gory or explisted sex books or those that pound you with a very narrow religious viewpoint. Everything else is fair game. add together: link encompass
