Alycia I have to say romance. Because information technology encompasses historical, paranormal, etc. And I always like a love theme to exist office of the story even if the book is labeled fiction.

Amanda Immature Adult, especially dystopian fiction. I approximate the closest answer would take been fantasy?

CathyD I like mythology but I read a variety of stuff. I enjoy Greek Mythology and other types of mythology. Information technology's fun. Stories....

Cody Meurer Horror. I like a skilful scare if its written well. Stephen King is what started me out on thus genre, and now I read all kinds. I like the kind of horror novel that causes you not to sleep on the dark that you've finished reading it. A lot of King's novels have this powerful quality to them. It sets this genre autonomously from others in a way. Notwithstanding, I am up for all kinds of fiction actually. I appreciate well-written works of fiction.

Adris Yep, sorry, I should accept added more genres, but my mind went blank. I honey science fiction-fantasy-romance. Difficult to choice i genre, you know.

Melinda I can't choice merely ONE category... but the one that most closely resembles what I like is award winning fiction...the subject doesn't matter too much... it just needs to be beautifully written.

Abigail different kinds of realistic-fiction i guess, because it's easier to relate to, and i can get more involved in the story and seem every bit if i'thou actually there. merely a close second fave is romance mixed with realistic fiction. third is fantasy

message 9: past Adris (new)

Marc Had the question been "What genre exercise like to read the most LATELY?" I probably could have answered. But the truth is, I don't accept a favorite genre to read.
Partly because I similar books... and I find that any book you read, no matter how appalling, has lessons and some interesting messages to share; partly because I just don't seem to take favorites in anything!

I'chiliad but excessively curious... so i just read!

Michael Pischak My genre is more a cantankerous genre than any particular genre. I am really into the mystery, just I similar there to exist supernatural ties in the book. Such every bit: Odd Thomas, Frankenstein, Watchers, Lightning, and Phantoms all by Dean Koontz, or Dreamcatcher by Stephen King, or The Quaternary Realm trilogy (The Traveler, Nighttime River, etc) by John Twelve Hawks.

bulletin 31: past Michael (concluding edited Feb 11, 2010 05:32AM) (new)

Michael Pischak Fantasy has ever seemed to be too general of a term for me. Is Fantasy typically medieval in nature. similar the Sword of Shanara and Lord of the Rings trilogy? Or the Terry Goodkind books? Or can information technology deal with mod characters and settings also? If it can, then tin anyone name any examples or reccomendations. I usually like books with a supernatural twist. Dean Koontz has books like this, such as: The Watchers, Phantoms, the Odd Thomas serial, Lightning.

Chelsi I read a wide variety of books, but if I look at my bookshelf information technology's by and large immature adult fantasy. I guess that fits since I'm studying to exist a high school teacher... ;)

Ann I like realistic fiction, either adult or YA.

9 Dragons was splendid

I just started reading Black Echo. I must say, this is ane of the best detective novels I have read. I am only 100 pages into the book and I already know that I want to read the balance of the Harry Bosch books. I am confused though, I was under the impression that Black Echo was the first Bosch book. Only there are repeated references to Bosch'due south involvement in the famous Dollmaker series instance that made him famous. Is this in some other book. I imagine that the Harry Bosch novels are non published chronologically according to the character's life. Like the Jack Ryan novels by Tom Clancy, they must jump around. If this is the case, does anyone know the chronological order (according to the character's life)of the Harry Bosch novels?

Brenda H I read a just nearly anything except truthful law-breaking but actually relish thrillers, fantasy and SF

bulletin l: by Aimee (new)

Aimee While I really like science fiction, I will read almost anything printed in English. I don't like really gory or explisted sex books or those that pound you with a very narrow religious viewpoint. Everything else is fair game.
